Dr. G.Sundari, Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Director Administration, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, She is actively involved in Teaching, Research and Administration activities and served at various capacity for the past twenty four years at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. Graduating with an A.M.I.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Institution of Engineers (India) in the year 1997 , She obtained her Masters in Engineering in the field of Applied Electronics from Anna University, CEG Campus in the year 2002. She has done her Ph.D research in the field of wireless sensor networks at Sathyabama institute of science and technology and graduated in the year 2011. She was the Principal Investigator of the Research Project funded by CVRDE, DRDO and has received grants from AICTE, DST, and TNSCST for conducting short term training program and National level seminars.. She has more than 45 research publications in various International and National Journals and Conferences. Her research area of interest includes Wireless Sensor Networks and Image Processing. She is presently guiding 5
Ph.D scholars and produced 3 Doctorates.
Dr. G. Sundari is the President of Institution Innovation cell, established under the aegis of MHRD’s Innovation Cell at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology and conducted numerous innovation and entrepreneurship- related activities for students. She is also a peer reviewer for various International Journals. Author of four Books and co-author of Book chapters on Artificial swarm Intelligence, Need for Internet of Things. She is in the doctoral committee of Ph.D research scholars in various reputed Institutes. Her services were recognised with awards including “Best Teacher Award” for her dedicated performance and Cognizant Technology solutions ‘Best Faculty Award’ in recognition for her excellence in Teaching and Research. During her tenure as IEEE Branch Counselor, IEEE Student Branch of Sathyabama has been awarded as Best outgoing student branch for highest membership. She is also the life member of ISTE, IETE.
She is also the member in Board of Management, Board of Research, Academic Council, Institutional Bio Safety and Ethical Committee of Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology.
